Commuting

AFTER another brutal winter here in Chicago, I decided that ole' Biancha needed a little face lift. There is no better way of getting around the city than by bike and why not do it with a little flair.

One week of riding.

After a typical night in -5 degree weather.

Reconstructed drivetrain with sassy blue chain.
With Flair

So my town bike is a Schwinn Moab from back in the day when Schwinn still made a kuality bike. Velocity wheels, Eason riser bar, XT kit and a Surly Singulator conversion kit. It's covered in stickers and decked out with fenders & a nice rack. I even have an air horn so I can honk at cars when they try to run me over. I do most of the grocery shopping with my bike and a messenger bag, and in the near future I'll be adding panniers which will further expand my options. It's a good town bike. But it's not a fixie. At least tell me you have the flip flop hub and leave it in the freewheel configuration! Then maybe I wouldn't feel so bad.

Oh and go buy this
